Don't think about it. Just do it. Buy them immediately. I wear between a 7 and a half & 8, have high arches & wide feet. I always do an 8 in boots to give room for tights & thick socks. The reviews had me worried - I went with my gut & got an 8. PERFECT FIT!!!!! Even that Amazon suggested size feature said to buy a 7 and a half - NOPE. I'm 5'6, 165 horrific lbs (post baby). My thighs & calves are average sized but that makes little difference because the leverage given by the laces fixes all of that. TOTALLY adjustable. They come to about 2 inches above the top of my kneecap. No, there's no split in the back (which I usually hate anyway because I think it makes thigh high boots look bulky, not sleek), but they DO have elastic darts on the inside about an inch away from the zipper. Perfect. They're not thigh highs if yr looking for something 3 or so inches above the knee - freak-em-boots. They ARE, however, everyday sexier-than-the-average-joe boots. They ain't Uggs, ok? ;-)
For example: "Oh! Sexy? *blush* my goodness! Why thank you! They're my fave boots, yes. Hey, cd U tell me in what aisle are the Nutella & strawberry preserves?"
Like that, Ladies. Like that. ;-)
The toe is tapered but not POINTY, nor is it rounded. It's the shape of the tip of a natural fingernail. Hope that makes sense. I have a new bunion (inherited - thanks Mom) & these boots give me zero issues with it.
As an ex-bartender, I would TOTALLY wear these for work, but if I planned on being active for hours at a time I'd slip in a gel insole or something of the like. But wldnt U do that with any heel U plan to actively wear for more than 6 hours? 0_0
The heel I measured at 3 and a half inches - stacked, sturdy, chunky but still tapered. Meaning the circumference where it meets the shoe is slightly wider than the part that meets the ground. VERY slight difference - just enough to make it NOT look like the chunk heels of the 60's &
70's (or that "Groove is in the Heart" video from the 90's). Just enough to keep it sleek & sexy...but not TOO sexy. Perfect to pair with leggings or jeans (jeggings), a regular ole bulky or slightly fitted sweater/tunic & an ornate belt...and still look like U actually put time into making it into an outfit. Or a mini sweater dress with textured tights? MERCY.
I throw these on with whatever is lying closest to me when I take my 4 yr old to preschool at the a**crack of dawn &
I'm always complimented by other moms on looking "so well put together".
I'm telling U, Ladies, theses boots are an outfit maker.
I got them in tan (not tan 15) & they are a slightly weathered look, the color of an almond shell. Or, for cosmetic folk - golden almond. And as others have stated, YEP, I'm going back for both the black and brown. TODAY.
I don't know about those other shinier "15" labeled colors so I can't vouch for them, but if U've read this entire review U've already wasted too much time in the buying process. Put em in your cart NOW & keep on movin. :)
I got them on Prime for $27. No discount, no review given for a special price, no disclaimers, none of that crap. Just real talk here.
I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon (did I mention my 4 year old Wildchild?) & this is EASILY one of the best purchases I've ever made here.
        Hope this helps.
        Happy shopping sisters!

I am usually an 8 or 8.5 in shoes and boots. I'm 5'6" and weigh 115 pounds, so I have thin calves. The description says "runs a half size larger", what ever they mean by that. I debated maybe buying the 8, but I went instead for the 8.5, just to be safe. I'm very glad I did. They fit my feet EXACTLY, whereas other boots I've gotten from Amazon, in 8.5, fit a bit big. I compensate by adding a shoe pad, and wearing thick socks. I don't think I'll need a pad for these. They are VERY comfortable, and the heel is a great size. The lacing fits great. If you have more muscular calves, you can easily let the laces out.
Some reviews have said that they were unhappy, because the boots previously were matte and more weathered-looking. They complained that what they got now is a cheap, shiny patent leather. I studied that before I ordered. NOTE that the colors show Black, Brown, and Tan, followed by Black 15, Brown 15, Tan 15. I figured that the 15 refers to the newer model, hence the shiny kind. They're even more expensive. I went with the ones that did not say 15, and they are the weathered ones, definitely beautiful. Today, I received the Brown and the Tan, both gorgeous. Of course, from up close, they look like pleather, but from a distance, they look like really expensive leather boots. For the looks and the fit, the price is perfect.

I want to give these boots a higher rating. I really do. But the toes got scuffed up on the very first time I wore them. I've put shoe polish on them and hopefully will be able to cover up the scuffs up easily. These boots are cheap, so you kinda get what you pay for. I like the fit and find them comfortable. Pretty true to size for size 11 shoe. If you don't wear boots often and are looking for a decent cheap pair, I would recommend these. If you will wear them all the time, it would be worth putting more money into a better quality pair.

I always read the reviews before ordering anything online. Well after reading all the reviews, I couldn't believe how one shoe could be so small and others said they fit perfectly. So I asked the question if you have wide feet should I go up a size, fortunately for me a lady was kind enough to answer me and she also has a bit of a wide foot and told me to order my true size.. So glad I listened to her because they fit perfect. Maybe some of these ladies wear a size 8 and order a size 6. LOL
